This month is pretty peaceful compared to what is in the store in September. We will start several activities at the same time and you should plan ahead before deadlines expire.
Those of you who prepared with us for incoming SAT or TOEFL testing dates should know that you need to practice more. Your preparation seminar included some free tests or simulations of the test so you better use that opportunity. It is vital for your testing day that you know exactly what is expected of you. We know it would be harder to schedule preparation tests when the school starts,so we offer you August dates for practice.
If you are planning to apply this fall,there is no time to waste. Get ready for your tests either by practising with us or getting it done alone. Register for SAT,GRE,TOEFL and GMAT in time,plan your activities ahead. Our testing schedule for GMAT remains the same –twice a week,every week. GRE will be paper-based in October and couple of times a week on a computer in testing centers in Budapest,Sofia and Zagreb. You can see the paper-based testing locations at the official web site once you start the registration process. SAT locations and dates are available at the Collegeboard official web site,and the same goes for the TOEFL iBT. SAT is available in October,November,December,January,May and June –once a month. Register as soon as possible,since the registration process closes about five weeks before the testing date. TOEFL iBT is given several times a month –the detailed schedule is available at the official web site once you log in and start the registration procedure.
The new prep cycles for SAT and TOEFL iBT will start in the late August or early September. Sign up for those classes,but have in mind that miracles are not so common when you prepare late. Many of you will be disappointed with the scores received for SAT if you just now are starting the preparation.
If you are starting your 3rd year of high school,you should start preparing for SAT when you don’t have too much to do in the school. Practice will come easy later and you will have time to try your SAT Subject tests in the spring of 2010.
After the free practice test we may establish that you have good knowledge of English and that the two-month preparation is not really for you. There is something else we can offer and you will enjoy it! Other preparation courses may start in the early October.
Also,our members can expect several workshops during months of September,October and November. Those workshops include applications,personal statements,essays,letters of recommendation. We will offer these workshops to the general public as well,but our members who already started preparation will have right of way in this important process. Remember,many of our members will be able to use their discount prices for these workshops.
