Our new forum software has had a bug where we didn’t really expect it to be: smileys. Who would’ve thought one code can be in such a wrong place?
It happened that the code was accidentally replaced by a number –to be more precise,it was eighty. So,those of you browsing through comparisons of scores on different versions of TOEFL would see the smiley laughing hysterically at the score of 80.
We did not have any intention of laughing at any score and it was good we noticed before people took this problem seriously. The score of 80 on TOEFL iBT is pretty good for many programs offered throughout the world,while the CBT score of 80 doesn’t give you any hope at all.
If you notice any problems with our site and its components,please let us know. We will do our best to fix it in time.
