Summer reading

What motivates human behavior in times of crisis? How should one respond to terrible tragedy and suffering? What makes a person a person? Under the guidance of IAC’s very own Jason Ryan, this reading group will examine Albert Camus’ classic novel The Plague: both the story itself and what it can tell us in relation to our own historical moment.

Over the course of six weeks we will meet six times via the Zoom platform, beginning with an introductory meeting on July 22nd, 2020. Participation in the group is free and open to all!
