EducationUSA Advising Team at the 2022 Regional Forum in Belgrade, Serbia

2022 EducationUSA Europe & Eurasia Regional Forum has been organized in Belgrade, Serbia!

We have connected with EducationUSA advisers and Regional Educational Advising Coordinators (REACs), learned everything about the latest in European student mobility, and offered a space to network and catch up with colleagues.

On Day 1, we were welcomed to the forum and Serbia by:

Ambassador Christopher R. Hill, U.S. Ambassador to Republic of Serbia

Minister Branko Ružić, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, Government of Serbia

Bogdan Gecić, Founder and Managing Partner, Gecić Law.

Session panels, an EducationUSA Adviser Country Fair, and trip to the National Museum in Belgrade rounded out our day.

Higher Education Fair

Day 2 of the Forum had us visiting concurrent sessions by our colleagues from the network and participating institutions.

Higher Education Fair was an amazing opportunity for students and their parents from Serbia and neighboring countries to talk to representatives of 50 institutions of higher education in the U.S. Lines of students and parents waiting to enter the Fair and crowd inside was just the thing we wanted to see after a couple of years of live event restrictions.

Final day of the forum

When the Day 3 sessions wrapped up, we had to close the Forum in style. The dinner at the historical area of Kalemegdan and an amazing set of Serbian folk dances ended up the event.
